Finland’s semiconductor ecosystem is growing — but growth cannot happen without talent. Companies across the industry report an urgent need for skilled professionals. According to the Chips from the North strategy*, Finland will need 15,000 new semiconductor professionals by 2035.

With a Memorandum of Understanding in place, the collaboration between the Nordic and Baltic centres is formally established.

Why to arrange a summit? After the Nordic Chip Summit 2025, held on 10th of November, I do not wonder about this anymore. And that of course adds to my understanding that innovations start from interaction. And often from serendipity.
