About FiCCC
The cornerstone of building Finnish semiconductor future - empowering industries, enabling innovation, and strengthening resilience.

The Finnish Chips Competence Centre (FiCCC) is a national hub connecting Finland’s semiconductor expertise with European and global opportunities. It supports companies and researchers in turning ideas into scalable solutions by offering access to know-how, networks, and services in IC design, specialized processes, and business development.

FiCCC serves as a neutral, trusted partner for startups, SMEs, large companies, and research organisations — fostering collaboration, guiding stakeholders to the right partners and initiatives, and strengthening Finland’s role in the international semiconductor ecosystem.

From Finland to Europe – accelerating microchip design, manufacturing, and business growth
FiCCC plays a key role in implementing the EU Chips Act in Finland by serving as the national entry point to different European semiconductor initiatives. Through FiCCC, Finnish companies and researchers gain access to the EU Chips Design Platform, Chip Pilot Lines, funding opportunities and knowhow accross Europe, ensuring that Finnish expertise is connected to the broader European ecosystem.

At the same time, FiCCC directly supports Finland’s Chips from the North strategy, coordinated by Technology Industries of Finland. This national growth strategy highlights semiconductors as a critical enabler for future industries and digital sovereignty. By connecting research, business, and international collaboration, FiCCC strengthens the competitiveness of Finnish semiconductor ecosystem while accelerating the creation of new business opportunities.
By bridging local strengths with European opportunities, FiCCC contributes to both national resilience and European technological leadership, empowering stakeholders to innovate, scale, and compete globally.
