With a Memorandum of Understanding in place, the collaboration between the Nordic and Baltic centres is formally established.

Why to arrange a summit? After the Nordic Chip Summit 2025, held on 10th of November, I do not wonder about this anymore. And that of course adds to my understanding that innovations start from interaction. And often from serendipity.

FiCCC will take part in the Mobile World Congress 2026 (MWC Barcelona, March 2–5) - one of the world’s most influential technology events - to manifest Finland’s capabilities in semiconductors and microelectronics on the global stage.

Industry leaders, researchers, and innovators gathered in Tampere for a joint session between Future Mobile Working Machine and the Finnish semiconductor ecosystem to discuss semiconductors; chips, sensors and the urgent need for Europe and Finland to strengthen sovereignty in designing and manufacturing these foundational technologies.
