Consortium
Our close-knit and agile consortium covers different regions of Finland effectively.

Business Oulu is the economic development organisation of the City of Oulu, supporting business growth and innovation. Within FiCCC, it strengthens collaboration between companies, startups, and research organisations in the semiconductor field.
It helps turn ideas and innovations into business opportunities by developing the local ecosystem, identifying partners and funding options, and connecting stakeholders with suitable national and European funding instruments.
Photonics is essential to all chip manufacturing today, and its role will become even more critical as chip technologies evolve.
Photonics Finland is a technology cluster that promotes the photonics industry and research in Finland by connecting Finnish photonics companies, universities, research institutions, experts, students, and public authorities. Photonics Finland links FiCCC to the whole photonics ecosystem in Finland.
Chip Fusion is a platform for Finnish semiconductor industry development, hosted by Tamlink Ltd which also coordinates the Finnish Chips Competence Centre (FiCCC).
As the coordinating partner of the Finnish Chips Competence Centre (FiCCC) consortium, Tamlink acts as the contact point for FiCCC ecosystem and as Finland's representative in The European Network of Chips Competence Centres (ENCCC).
Kvanttinova is a high-profile chip innovation ecosystem that operates in the broader Helsinki Uusimaa region. The ecosystem consists of more than 50 deep-tech companies, academia, and technology organisations in the fields of microelectronics, photonics, and quantum technologies.
At FiCCC, Kvanttinova brings specific expertise of semiconductor manufacturing, quantum technologies, MEMS and RF-systems. (Kvanttinova ecosystem is also home for the Kvanttinova Hub, a building that will host VTT’s Chips JU pilot line capabilities.)
