Developing strong skills and attracting the right people are key for long-term success in the semiconductor field. FiCCC aids startups and SMEs build competencies and find the talent they need by linking them to tailored training, targeted skill-building, and promotion opportunities. 

Job promotion for finding talent in IC design 

FiCCC assists companies in promoting open IC-related positions through its national and EU-level networks. The service helps identify and attract skilled candidates from academia, RTOs, and industry, including the facilitation of internships or secondments from research programs or co-funded initiatives. 

What do we want to achieve together?

  • Increased visibility of job openings among relevant talent pools 

  • Matched candidates based on technical profile and experience 

  • Internships or fixed-term placements supported by public programs (Chips JU, national talent initiatives) 

  • Connections to graduating students from chip design programs in Finland 

Access to  competency development to build in-house capabilities in IC design 

This service supports companies – particularly those new to IC development – in upgrading the skills of their existing technical teams. FiCCC helps identify suitable training programs, university micro-credentials, or third-party bootcamps in areas such as EDA tool usage, digital RTL design, analog/RF design, or packaging technologies. The service can also support grant preparation for training-related funding.

  • Co-creation of upskilling pathways together with academic partners (TAU, AALTO, University of Oulu)

  • Scouting and filtering of training providers or candidate pools 

  • Coordination with educational institutions or public talent programs 

  • Referral or matchmaking to training platforms, talent pipelines, or secondment programs
